BlackBerry Phones

We are in the middle of one of the largest waves of new technology since the introduction of the Internet. Smartphones, considered the most productive and entertaining hardware on the market today, are taking the world by storm. People who don't have a smartphone, can't appreciate just how advanced the technology really is. Mobile computers and media devices, loaded with applications and mobile internet, these phones are the cream of the crop in cell phones.

Research in Motion has been a leader in providing a premiere business device, called the BlackBerry, for many years. With this wave of consumer-based smartphones flooding the market, Research in Motion had some work to do. They responded with great handsets such as the BlackBerry Curve, the BlackBerry Storm, the BlackBerry Bold and the BlackBerry Tour.
The BlackBerry Curve is the first BlackBerry to offer an internal camera. The 2-mega-pixel camera is a great addition to the already extensive line of applications available with this phone. The Curve is also available without the camera installed. With a full QWERTY keyboard, messaging and email are simple on this device. The Curve has several models of its own, the newest of which, the 8900 model, offers a 3.2-mega-pixel camera.
The BlackBerry Storm is the first touch screen phone for the BlackBerry line. The Storm has 1GB of on board memory; a 3.25" touch screen and a 3.2-mega-pixel camera. The battery life of the Storm is much longer than some other smartphones, with 6 hours of talk time and a 15-day standby time.

The BlackBerry Bold comes equipped with the most on board memory of any other BlackBerry, with 8GB available. The Bold also comes equipped with a 2-mega-pixel camera, full QWERTY keyboard as well as convenient keyboard backlighting. The Bold has a very sleek design, perhaps the most attractive phone available through Research in Motion.
The Blackberry Tour is almost identical in appearance to the BlackBerry Bold. The major differences are that the Tour has a 3.2-mega-pixel camera and only 256MB of on board memory. Not to mention the Bold is available only with the AT&T network, and the Tour is only available through Verizon. The Tour also has a full QWERTY keyboard with backlighting. The battery life is an impressive 5 hours talk time and 14 days standby. All these models come with 3G network capabilities and one of the premiere web browsers available on smartphones.
